| P4B266 Setting for P4 533mhz Thinking about buying a P4 2.26 533mhz and I have a P4B266 bios ver: 1.007 Can anyone tell me the correct setting for this chip to get the full benefit or If I just put it in will it be recognized? I've been studying the following link... http://usa.asus.com/mb/socket478/p4b266/jumper.htm Thanks! ![]() |

| Just put it in. It will be recognized no problem. The whole 266/533 thing is all marketing - especially for Asus boards. |

| Jumperless is easier, thought there are jumper setting that will do it as well. I would use jumperless of course just for the overclocking adjustment features. |

| Set CPU speed to manual then set external frequency to 133mhz leave vcore at auto mode. CPU Memory ratio should be set to auto or 1:1. Sorry but at 133mhz on this board you will not have a 3:4 ratio to choose. Have the same problem on my board!Should be good to go after that.
