| I have been running 1023 for the last six months on my work rig. I find it to be the most stable of the entire multi year run.

| Great...I think it is time for me to get up to date. I got the 1023.rom file and the latest afudos226. That should work. I wish it did remember the settings so I could just update without writting down all the OC stuff I have in there! :-)

| Print Settings? Just wondering if there is any way to Print the BIOS/CMOS settings after hitting <DEL>. In that way, we will have them when we update and have to reenter them. All of my OC settings are hard to remember!

.....FUNNY you should mention for this "BOOM" effect>>>> as per say in my sig's, ["the other-rigg"], the system of this mthrbrd.......I have had this USB header's hooked up to my LianLi's 4(ea) USB_front port's since this build and have NEVER had a problem-A-O-ta; been using my digital (Olympic & Canon) camera's for picture's and all, also with usage of my HP ScanJet 4100C Scanner, & USB Logitech's mouse, etc...etc... without a Hickup.... . . . . just scary to read here and there about's this problem, but i HAVE read about's other "PC_ case's...front USB_jack's" having this problem with because of the nomaclature of the wiring hookup's to be WRONG from the factory, as well as some people tend to have just "one" of those small/tiny wires hooked up upon the wrong socket.........but just want to give out my output for this such thread, with this mthrbrd_USB....prob.......... . . . .but, then again, it could just be of "that" particular mthrbrd for which is being "Q'd" about's........ mr. Charles .

| Vista drivers Noticed someone asked about vista drivers. Well, I'm wondering too. I do not run raid on my system but I still have to have the drivers in order to access my third sata-disk. And yes, my P4C800-E Deluxe still running. However, I've changed gfx card twice (one broke). And I'm facing regular bluescreens but I haven't really bothered looking into it. I'm trying out Vista just to see if the system is more stable (and I'm a little bit curious too, want to see myself what the fuzz is all about). So, drivers for Promise controller for Vista, anyone knows anything? cheers Moriarty

| I am using the standard Intel RAID driver in Vista. I am running 2 Raptors in RAID 0 off the IC8HR and two more in standard SATA mode in Vista with no problems at all.

| Om my 800E rig I am running the latest Bios, I think it is .23. You would have to read all the release notes as ASUS had a long string of Bios updated for this board.I feel that they finally got it all right with the final release.
