Finally got around to putting in my 2.4C (SL6Z3). Made it up to 288 FSB pretty easily. Now the hard part.

Memory: 2.5-4-3-7
VCore: Default
VDimm: 2.85v
Turbo: Enabled
Idle Timer: 64T
Refresh Rate: 64uSec

Will leave it at these settings until CPU has a chance to settle in.

HI ! I'm back from one weeks vacation and just noticed this thread had become a Sticky

Isn't that nice

I'm gonna read though all recent posts and get up to date in a while.

>> sierra_bound

Are you running 1/1 ?
I should have bought the 2.4 instead...

Welcome back, DanX. I'm running 5:4 with the 2.4C. Did make it to 290FSB. I'm waiting for a new northbridge HSF I ordered before attempting a run higher.

Yup, have the EL Golds. But mine seem to have problems at Cas2. Sometimes I can run stable, sometimes not. As an experiment, I may try moving them to the other two slots to see if that makes any difference.

Hmmm, now this is interesting. I moved the Golds to the black DIMM slots. Now I can do Cas2 and I pushed the FSB up to 292. Will leave it there for now.

BBThumper, has your Swiftech on the northbridge made any difference? Mine just arrived and I plan to install it this weekend. By the way, thanks for the little "gift."
