| p4ps8x- unable to install audio drivers Hey all- This might sound noob so please bear with me....I just rebuilt my machine and have decided to try the onboard audio with the p4s8x mobo (my audigy crapped out). When I try to install the drivers off the cd, I get a message saying that the C-media chip is not present on my machine. I thought it was built in tothe board?! I started with a clean format and install of XP, Service pk 1. The only other device installed is a d-link wireless pci card. p4 2.5 1 gig ram Any help or suggestions would be great. |
