Exclamation P4T533: stock vRIMM @ 2.85v ?! I thought it was at 2.50v??? Read on...

Have the vRimm mod done. Decided to undo it to check some stuff temporarily but kept the wire that allows me to check the vRIMM volage... turns out it was at 2.85v?! As the Naked Review site says, it should hover a couple ticks above 2.5v. I have a rev 1.03 without the NB fan... 5% tolerance of the vRIMM puts you at about 2.63v... so I am starting out of spec...... wierd huh... Any explainations? You guys get the same readings?

Also,
When I "undid" the vRIMM mod, I could not even get through my startup programs loading with my 3.06 @ 150FSB (3.45Ghz).... Redid the Naked Review vRIMM mod and am now running 155FSB stable (for now) @ 2.90v vRIMM...

Go figure?! I have 2x256MB 0228 RIMMs.... this board is a mystery... I used to be able to get to 150FSB piece of cake w/o the mod... Now I am able to work at 155FSB... Difference also being that I have a nice 80mm fan blowing ice cold air on the RIMMS

My vRIMM at 2.90v makes me nervous, should I be????
