I don't know. If you can completely uninstall the ASUS driver. You may be able to install the MS driver through MS Update.

Re: P5B-Deluxe New BIOS

I finally installed 1226. No problems. stable. I was even able to lower my VDIMM .05v than before and still stable in memtest.
Running my E6600 @ 3.0/333FSB/1.30v, RAM @ 1000/4-4-4-10/2.10v

Re: P5B-Deluxe New BIOS

For some reason, I had instability problems with the 1226. I am using the 1219. others, on other boards have had the same problems I had. Are you running a Wolfdale? I did not check what a E6600 is.

The E6600 is a Conroe dual core. No instability problems... so far.

If it was someone else on a different forum, I would have my doubts. I believe you (of coarse). That is why this is my favorite forum. People have a better level of knowledge here.

And, I find it interesting that it is doing well for you. Do you have an overclock? I think that is where I had my problems. But, I don't remember for sure.

Re: P5B-Deluxe New BIOS

I ran it at stock 2.4 (9x266/1.30v) and now at 3.0 (333x9/1.30v). Memtest86+ (1000/4-4-4-10/2.10v) no errors and Prime95 stable. No issues.

Re: P5B-Deluxe New BIOS

I think Crucial memory is some good stuff.
