P5W DH Deluxe driver problem?

Hello everyone, first post and I'm hoping someone can drop some knowledge and help me out.

The basic problem is I can't access the internet. Now here is some background. I purchased my mobo (Asus P5W DH Deluxe) for my first build about a year and a half ago (bios 0801) for my first build ever. Just recently I decided to reformat the HD and reinstall everything, including updating the BIOS. I now have the latest bios, 2602. But I don't think this is a bios problem.

After installing windows, the first thing I installed was Asus WiFi-AP Solo from the driver disk that came with the mobo. This was so I could get internet access and download newer versions of the drivers from the internet. So internet access was working fine.

Until, that is, I installed the marvell Yukon gigabit ethernet drivers. This killed my internet access. In the status area for WiFi-AP solo, it seemed my comp could see my linksys router (I could select it from a list of available networks), but the gateway IP was blank. I could pull up a browser however and connect to the router, but I wasn't able to get onto the internet.

I've tried many combinations of drivers and configurations and so far no luck. I spent hours googling to see if anyone else has had similar problems. I'm hoping someone here has an answer for me or can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!!

========================

Forgot to mention... my internet access didn't disappear after installing the Yukon drivers until after I restarted my comp. That seems significant for some reason, but I'm a bit of a newb, so I can't say how.
