Hi... I'm having trouble making stuffpcr work... can somebody give me some pointers please?

I'm using Win2k. I have Parse Autoexec set to 1 in the registry.
In my autoexec.bat I have a line that goes....c:\stuffpcr\stuffpcr.com c:\stuffpcr\815.bin.
I placed the 815.bin file in my stuffpcr folder.
After doing those steps I reboot and load WPCREDIT and check offset A4 bit 2
and it still comes up as AGP 2x and also other memory settings are unchanged. It's seems to me that I'm doing something wrong because there's
no differncence in memory performance.

I have a P3 677@833 my FSB is at 166mhz . My RAM is EMS Pc150 HSDRAM.
It runs at 2,3,2 7/9 but my memory benchmarks on Sandra 2001 only 400/450 in win2k.
that somewhere.
Thanks for your time...
Brian Arcuri..

Cool

When overclocking your CPU, AGP4x Will automatically fall back to AGP2x... bringing back the cpu-speed to the original will solve the problem. So you have to choose: Faster graphics or faster CPU... sorry!

Why don't you just use WPcredit for the memory tweaks ,and AGP4x.The memory tweaks seem to help most people ,but the AGP4x fix seems to only help some people. Its doesn't hurt to try ,and a lot of people are using either WPcredit or StuffPcr for memory improvements or to enable AGP4x.

Milleniumdaf,

Stuffpcr.com and 815.bin solve the problem you claim is absolute. I overclock (FSB155) and I operate at AGP4x if I perform this workaround. If I dont use stuffpcr then I drop to 2x at 140FSB. To get more info search the archives.

Brian, your autoexec.bat line is wrong! It's:
C:\STUFFPCR\STUFFPCR C:\STUFFPCR\815.BIN

Try that
