Removing Mirror Raid from P4PE

Help pleaseI have a P4PE with a SATA Mirror Raid set up but I need more space. I would like to keep what is on one of the drives and use the other drive as extra space. What is the best way to go about this, can I just change things in the setup, or take an image and then change the setup then put the image back on or what.

Re: Removing Mirror Raid from P4PE

If you have a mirrored array (RAID1) then the drives should be identical. I would remove one and see if I could boot from just one of the drives like you should be able to. If so just turn off the RAID function in the RAID bios and format and set up a different drive letter through computer management for the other one.
