My Celeron 1.1A has a 1.475v default, and running it at 1.75v is ~18% over spec. Idle-42 degrees, temps running SETI-at-HOME-46 degrees. I'm using a CoolerMaster DP5-6H51 HSF.

maximum temperature to run cely 1200 at 133 fsb

the absolute maximum for a o/c'd celeron 1200 at 133 fsp(1600mhz) should be at most 45 degree.
at above temps than 45 it will crash

I've got an Asus Tua 266 änd a PIII 1.2 GHz which only can be overclocked to 1.4 GHz. My FSB is running on 155 MHz and the Vcore voltage is set to 1.675 V. Whenever I try to get a little higher, the system halts at the postscreen. I don't think it's cos I need to up the voltage more (even tho I cant cos it's on max possible in the BIOS) but because my NIC and Soundcard doesnt like the PCI-bus clocked so much. The temp is fine also, about 38-40 C...

What do you suggest I do? I'm not a veteran overclocker so to speak... :o

maybe your Ram @155 is at its limit...

Cool tually

1.13 here (133 fsb model).

Tusl2-c

vid pin volt mod (stuck wire in the zif socket reinserted CPU, took about three minutes).

180 FSB (1530), any higher and definate probs.

runs the 178fSB for everyday ops (1513mhz). 1.825vre.

corsair PC150 XMS stuff for the ram, 2 256meg sticks.

mc370 w/delta 8000rpm screamer for cooling.

Quazza, I'd go for the TUSL2-C. I don't think the TUA266 has too good a track record, and the ALi chipset doesn't hold up against the i815EP. DDR won't do much for the Celeron either...

Ta Kongo, yep I was thinking the TUSL2 would be the way to go but saw a TUA266 for a pretty good price.
Well it looks like the TUSL2 wins.

vid pin trick

Hi guys!

I have a question for you. I got a motherboard where you can't set the cpu vcore voltage manually.. I defaults at 1.5v for my tualatin 1.2ghz cpu...

So i tried the vid pin trick where you connect vid1 -> vid2 and the voltage went up to 1.66 in bios.. =) but is there a way to pin trick to get even higher?? because 1.66 is not enough to run my cpu at 1.6ghz

best regardz

Yes read the vid pin trick thread. It explains all and if you need to go above 1.825 i also explain how to mod a chip on the mobo to increase Vcore to whatever you want. That should answer all your questions.
