| The Benefits of a totally Online OS. Ive been thinking about this lately and was daydreaming about the benefits about this actually becoming a reality. I wanted to take a poll to see how many people would consider buying if one came into view.

| Re: The Benefits of a totally Online OS. I'll consider it once consumer broadband gets fast and reliable enough for it to be transparent to the user. Current AJAX system, if they are anything to go by, while impressive, are horribly slow compared to conventional apps. I just can't see enduring that for an entire OS. |

| Re: The Benefits of a totally Online OS. I dont think were ready to give up our security baseline to the internet and I couldent put up with the downtime associated with online maintenance. If something like this was developed and the main concerns targeted I would consider.

| Re: The Benefits of a totally Online OS. This would be bad because it wont be secure and well pretty slow.
