Are you able to PING both machines from the other?
Can you PING your router from both machines?
Did you actually SHARE any folders?

Unshare and reshare the folders. check the permissions on the new folder share, if using simple file sharing make sure everyone has full access, otherwise make sure the correct users have permission.

I've seen this many times on printer sharing, just turning off the share and resharing usually fixes it.

Run the network setup wizard on both machines, make sure they are in the right workgroup and have different names. Enable the Simple File Sharing. Share out a folder. This will reset the basic stuff.

After that it is likely a firewall. Even if you have setup rules, disabled and in some cases removed a software firewall it will still block. Check the Windows firewall as well.

Either run SYMNRT (Symantec) or MCREM (McAfee) and see if that helps clean things up.

Well i reloaded both machines and my machine cant not open anything over the network on my other machine. My second machine can open my shared folder. So i got my laptop out and its able to see my machine and open the folders, but unable to open my second machine.

Have you opened up the IP addresses of all machines on all machines?
