Firewall settings for dual nic's in server

I want to run dual network cards in my server. One for network only and one for internet (hosting website and ftp). My main connection was 192.168.0.48 that controls everything right now and i want to spilt the load up.

card1 192.168.0.48 Network only
card2 192.168.0.51 for Internet (website, ftp)

I was able to block the 192.168.0.48 in my router from getting to the internet and thats works fine. Problem is that i can no longer use the internet on my server because i cant fingure out how to make it look at the second network card. Only way i can get online is to disable card1. Is there away to make my card2 the default connection?
