| frequent dsl disconnects im using a speedstream 5100 modem for my dsl. i use sbc dsl. why do i disconnect in games (warcraft 3) but im still connected online? |

| If you're still running that wireless NIC, see your old thread on wireless speed... Interesting info there on XP wireless zero-config breaking session for a few seconds every minute or so to search for new access points, along with a potential work-around (shut down the service once your wireless NIC has connected with your access point). This just might solve the prob. When you reboot everything goes back to normal...

| Check your Ethernet cable connections and router config... see www.broadbandreports.com. They have setup info on most all of the current home routers in the forums...
