wow.. havent seen you here for ages!

So you want to share a connection with a WAP, and then access the WAP from another computer?

You should be able to share a crossover cable to the WAN port of a WAP, and use that to do what you need.

I am unsure if there is a way to share the connection wirelessly to a WAP though.

You should be able to connect your computer which you are receiving a connection from a PCMIA card or a via tethering to a 3G cell phone via a crossover cable to the WAN port of a wireless access point. I think it requires ICS however, and I am no expert in ICS, but I am sure it is possible.

Re: internet sharing with a USB modem possible?

Can you provide a link to your modem specifications?

I'm curious to know if the modem only has a USB port.

I'm sure we can help you get it up and running!

Re: internet sharing with a USB modem possible?

I'm assuming he is using a cell phone to tether.. In his sig, he refers to a TyTn 2... A cell phone.. I have a PPC6800 aka Titan. I can tether it to a laptop for internet. I know for a fact you can use ICS to share that connection depending on how you have it tethered.

I guess you can use it to connect to a WAN port of a WAP and share that connection.
