| Re: Internet Slower then ever I would have your ISP come by and make sure there isn't excessive noise on the line. The thing with cat 5 cables, phone cables, and coaxial (tv cable) is that EMI(Electrical Magnetic Interference) can put noise on the line and sometimes significantly reduce speed. For instance my monitor is a 24" CRT(old monitor) it stores a lot of electricity, when I was having my Cat5 cable and coaxial cable being routed directly(1-2") behind it my speed was horrible, when I moved it further away(1 foot+) my speed is much faster. How ever there can be other things that put noise on the line that can be do to an exposed wire or not a properly shielded wired. |

| Re: Internet Slower then ever Do you have a friend with a laptop? Have him use your connect. That way you can narrow it down to the isp side, or your computer.

| Re: Internet Slower then ever Well of as now, Ninjin's idea of doing the Full Duplex has solved it, there is no noise, and my modem and everything is about 3-4 feet away, also all wires have a wrapping item so they dont touch each other. |

| Re: Internet Slower then ever Just checking up to see if changing it to full duplex fixed the issue, please let us know so then if we all know that the fix is actually the fix for this particular issue. |

Try unplugging your computer from the router, and then rebooting the router. Then try your PS3 again. If it's still slow/laggy ...call your ISP. Could be flaky modem, etc | |

| Re: Internet Slower then ever Try using just the modem not the router, a router can slow stuff down like crazy. |
