| Inventory on an AD network. Hey Guys, I have been tasked with doing inventory at work with several other people. I was wondering if there's a script that can be deployed via the GPO, and when the user logs on ... 1) does a quick scan of system specs, 2) asks the user to enter the building name and room number then save all this in a text file and email me the results? Any ideas on how this could be implemented?? t |

| Re: Inventory on an AD network. Most ticketing systems (like Track-IT!) can do the inventory for you. As far as #2 vbs would probably be the easiest way, just good vsb examples and you should find a script that does what you want after a bit of looking. |
