how do i remove the wep code on my wifi so others can log in to my internet connection once there is a wep code ? the problem i have is my wifi is locked and i need customers to be able to use the wifi! the computers on that connection are firewalled so i need the open connection

This isn't really my area, but seems the simple way would be to hit the reset button on the router itself. You need to hold it in with a pen tip or similar and after about 30 seconds (of holding it in) the router should be back to factory specs. I would consult the manual for your specific router to be sure. You could also go to the setup page for your router (usually 192.168.0.1) and you should be able to turn off security settings. I would try that first. The default login and password should be in your manual as well (often "admin" or "root" with the password also being "admin" all without quotes)

ok ill restate my ?, when u click on a wirless connect it says wep protected ,or its a open connect.. to connect to a wep protect network u need the code some one did a network setup at wep coded my wifi and i need to remove the wep code or how do i undo the network so it is a open connection for everyone to use?

You need to log into your wireless router and disable the WEP encryption key. Or you can go in to each and every computer and manually type in the WEP key.
