| Re: ATI Radeon 4800 launch details I will be first in line for the 4870. I can't believe how good my new monitor looks already and this card will make it better. I might have to look into using the HDMI ports.

| Nvidia buys Aegia and ATI is the first to market with onboard physics capabilities? this might be the card that puts ATI in the drivers seat again...lets see what Nvidia has up is sleeve...I recently bought an 8800GT but I might upgrade in June to whoever puts out the best single card

| Re: ATI Radeon 4800 launch details I want a single ATI card with better performance than the 3870 and this one appears to be it. I want a card that uses less juice than my 8800GTS and the G280 will not be it from what I've read so far. The price for the 4870 is looking good to. I wish Sapphire would build a double slot cooler with their liquid heat transfer tech like the Toxic version.

| I'm glad ATI is back to being very competitive with their pricing...the prices I'm hearing for their new high end models had me doing a double take to make sure that was not a misprint

| Re: ATI Radeon 4800 launch details Around $229 for a single GPU card that supposedly beats the 3870X2. I've heard good then bad then good again on power. It looks like it will beat the 9800GTX and that is bad news for NVidia especially at this price.

| Re: ATI Radeon 4800 launch details Sandog, I'm personally loving my 3870X2, it whoops the two 8800GTS cards that I had before. Drivers for the 3870X2 could use some more improvement, but I've noticed so far they are getting better. It saves me from having to have two videocards in my machine. Still the 4870 series of cards looks good.
