| So will trueimage 7 see the sata drives on the VIA chipsets K8T800pro? I been reading around that the bootdisk wont see the drives on these controllers. Same question goes for partition expert. Also when will 8.0 TI available thru the discount? I went to their website and they charge an extra 12 bucks to get the bootdisk. Is there away to make the bootdisk your self?

| It detects my SATA on SiL SATA controller.......as far as boot disks are concerned, you can create these from within the program. I had to change my bios boot order tho to launch the boot disk. However, once done you can reoorder the boot order according to your liking...... I haven't done a complete restore yet, I've just tested my boot disk & made sure that my backup is working ok within the program utility backup thingy...... Hope that helps |

| When I meant bootdisk I mean cdrom boot disk. Does it have a boot disk cdrom like drive image does that has utilities and stuff on it. And also can launch the program off the bootable cdrom? They charge an extra 12 bucks for the cdrom.

| You can create a bootdisk when you install TI.. I forwarded a reference to this post to CrazyJohn... He will try to update things as soon as possible. You should be linked to TI8 instead of TI7 when you click on the banners/ads... Quote:

| You can create bootfloppies and a bootCD!! (network enabled that is). Actually you can also choose from safe or full mode whereas full mode includes more support for more USB/SCSI disks.

| How long does it take before you get an email. Its been around 20min. Usually online stuff is instant. Pay then download right away. I just called regnow. They are not 100% computer rized. They manualy check these. Unlike digitalriver which is instant.

| It took nearly 2 hours for mine yesterday. In fact I called my credit card co. cause I thought they were delaying the process and was told they had approved the order shortly after I had filed the order. I couldn't believe it when I saw the "up to four hours" processing time. Acronis needs to give it's customers this info instead of the "instant download" noted in their web page. They use RegNow for their download service, they need to take ownership for the potential delay. |

| Whats going on with Regnow. My card keeps getting declined. I know it works because I ordered a pizza with it and it arrived already. But when I try to place an order with regnow or digital river I get declined. How can I declined by regnow/digitalriver but not by the pizza place? I cant call my bank till tuesday. Its a debit/credit card. And bank is closed at this time anyway. i wish this software was sold at compusa because I would just go down and buy it from them instead. And i'm sure my card would work too. Well it seems digital river has charged my card. I checked my bank balance and its dropped over $100.00. But each time I tried to purchase thru acronis. It would give an error after I tried securing the order. So the order should of never went thru. I tried that like 5 times. I think digital river is having problems and my card is just fine. But now I have to chase them down to get a lot of my cash back. And when I try get support it gives me some password crap. After submitting the report. ***. Usually I have no problems getting stuff thru digital river.

| You are better off not using a debit card for your purchases. The protection against fraud and your rights to with-hold payments in disputes is much stronger with a true credit card. Having said that, your problem may be with your financial institution and not the online vendor. Give your bank a call after the weekend and discuss what security options are in place for your card. You may be able to change specific permissions that are keeping you from being approved. |

| I just ordered acronis disk suite yesterday thru digital river no problems. And this was placed aftet waiting 6 hours from regnow. It took regnow 9 hours before they emailed me telling me they couldn't process the oder. regnow is terribly slow. i'm switching to citibank. Already in the process of doing it. Just waiting to get the mail from them to open the account. I still dont understand how I as able to use the same card to order a pizza with no problems.

| This is the error I get back. We're Sorry. We're having a problem processing your order. Please contact Customer Service. (Error Number: 30024003 - 0) When I try to contact customer service and submit the problem. I get password bs. https://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Master How do they expect you to submit a report for order question if you need a password. What kind of messed up system do they have. christ. Theres going to be hell to pay when I reach acronis on tuesday since monday is a holiday. A lot of hell. My card works damnit I used it today for food. I dont like real credit cards because you tend to spend more cash than you have. And I been using debit/credit card for ovr 5 years now with no problems till now. Usually if card gets declined it says your card gets declined not some error message.
