| Re: Acronis True Image I used to do the same thing. A number of full backups progressing from a clean install through a number of basic applications. I find that by the time that I want (need) to use one of those initial progressive backups that my installation has changed enough so that the initial install backups aren't really worth it, and I end up pulling data off of a recent backup (incremental).

| Re: Acronis True Image I have gotten into the habit of using the rescue disk to boot the system and make the image. No need to install this way.
