I just updated and had to reboot but it doesn't work for me, IE 7 works but FF3 still doesn't?

Also had to boot to activate changes, but it is working for me.

I am running AVG 8.0.135, with database version 270.4.4/1530.

I have the same verison and database has you, but when I google I don't get the green checkmarks has I do on IE7.....???????

Dunno. I forgot to tell you that I am using Vista.

I would first double check if the AVG Safe Search 8.0 extension is active in FF3 (Tools->Complements->Extensions Tab.
Secondly, check if AVG Search-Shield is enabled (sure it is, as you see the green checks in IE7)
Here after, I would reinstall AVG.

Thats what I'm going to do, it doesn't show in the extensions on FF3 so it didn't take, I'm using XP sp3, no big deal I'll just uninstall and reinstall AVG....thanks

Well that fixed it, downloaded a new AVG 8 file uninstalled and reinstalled the new file and updated files, and FF3 works with the AVG safe serch....Thanks
