extensions Morning Coffee

This is your solution: Morning Coffee extension for Firefox
Download from here: sjml - morning coffee

you can define for each day which tabs you want to open. An amazing extension. I think it's one of the most useful Firefox extensions available. Highly recommended.

Does anybody know of a way to do this? I tried looking through this thread the best I could but I couldn't find a way, though it's possible of course I missed something. I thought maybe the "Tabbed browser extension" would have been my best bet but it comes with a warning that it's slow and it doesn't seem to work for firefox 2, which I'm using.

Thank you very much for that one! I just found out it's also possible in standard Firefox 2.0 to have it open multiple tabs at startup but Morning Coffee has the added feature of letting you specify which tabs to open on which day.

You would have to select "open" instead of "save", and the clip would have to be streaming. If the clip is streaming and you select "open" after clicking the link, it should open in Windows Media Player or whatever other program the filetype is associated with and it should then play while downloading.

Slow startup

I have Firefox installed on three computers. On each one it takes up to 10 seconds and more for firefox to start. Anyone knows the possible reason(s) for this?? I have tried it with 3 different fire walls installed one at a time.

Tks

Stupid Bookmark Favicons

With Firefox, when I go from one website to another, and the following site does not connect or times out, it "inherits" the favicon from the previous site in the Bookmarks list.
What's up with that?

Re: Firefox info/help thread!

When I install FF it holds the old setting. I installed an apps and it didn’t work so I uninstall FF and it wants to hold the old setting can you trick it into thinking it a first time install to get all setting correct.

Re: Firefox info/help thread!

Note you will loose all settings and your bookmarks by doing this.
If you want to keep your bookmarks go to Documents and settings\your user name\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\profilename\ and copy the bookmarks.html file. The profile name will be a bunch of numbers and letters followed by your profile name you used. By default its default.

Uninstall Firefox then.
Go to Documents and settings\your user name\application data\ and delete the mozilla folder. Then go to Documents and settings\your user name\local settings\application data\ and delete the mozilla folder. Empty your recycle bin then reboot and install Firefox.

Once you have Firefox installed run it at least once. Then with Firefox closed copy the bookmarks.html back to Documents and settings\your user name\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\profilename\

Hope this helps

I have seen the wrong favicons problem but never knew that caused it.
Submit a bug report if you really want it fixed.

Re: Firefox info/help thread!

3.0b3 has a very gaudy default theme ... I don't like it.

Also, all the animated smileys move very slowly on the page if many of them are showing together.

just my quick observations.

I use tab mix plus, and if I need to go to the home page, I simply double click on my tab bar and get my home page.

I guess you have more than one home page?
