Spybot S&D

How do I keep it from running at startup? I don't care about it being in the taskbar , but everytime I reboot it just starts scanning. I have unchecked all the autorun stuff in the program but it keeps doing it! Is it finding probs during boot to turn it on or is there a setting I'm missung? TIA

The last time you ran Spybot did you say YES to fix problem on reboot? If so then it will have to completely run that task. Also turn off Tea Timer as I found it to be more of annoyance then useful.

Re: Spybot S&D

CommandrX,
Is there a way to just "turn off" the TeaTimer as a Start-Up program?

The only way I found was to uninstall and re-install without the TeaTimer. (TeaTimer is still put in your ProgramFiles directory in case you want to use it on demand.)

Open Spybot and go into tools , click on "resident" and uncheck tea timer.

Re: Spybot S&D

Rickwell, maybe it's just the beers, but I don't see how to turn off tea timer the way you described.

Re: Spybot S&D

Thanks, Zman88. I looked all over "Settings", but didn't think to look under "tools".

Oh it must be the beers.I put that screen shot in there because of your original post. Not the tea timer.
Tea Timer is in Tools,Resisdent,Then remove the check mark from teatimer
