Re: Vista SP1 release notes...

I'll have this sucker before you're able to download it. An OEM where I live already has it, and I gave him my address and he's going to mail me a copy on DVD.

Re: Vista SP1 release notes...

So, I did a fresh install on my main rig today, so I can put SP1 on it instead of the 42 microsoft updates, 27 of which were critical...
Amazing....
After reading the above link... It looks like they've addressed most of my b!tches about the OS....

I guess we'll see..

Re: Vista SP1 release notes...

I'll be watching to see if the OS has turned friendly...I really would like to see MS make it right. As I recall, XP got a lot of complaints out of the chute too.

Customer Experience Improvement Program

This is from the link in my previous post.

Customer Experience Improvement Program

The Microsoft Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) is turned on by default. If you do not want to participate in the CEIP, you can change the settings.
To change CEIP settings

1. In Control Panel, click System and Maintenance, and then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
2. In the Task list, click Change settings.
