| Xj, Here is what I use. Give it a try. Just type "shutdown -h" and it will hibernate your machine. |

| I got it off of a website. I've been using it for a while now, so I don't remember. And yes it's free. P.S. Found the website. http://www.budja.com/shutdown/ |

| I've also been using Shutdown for quite awhile. I have it linked to MBM5, so if my system overheats, it will shutdown by itself.

It's not a bad program though...just didn't end up being as convenient as I hoped it would be. | |

| Check this one out .... http://www.scriptek.com/i/p/detail/id/spamproofer I build websites, and a friend just told me about making sure all e-mail links on any page were encrypted so 'e-mail trawler' progs didn't pick them up and send them on to spam co's etc .... Freeware. Easy to use. Encrypts e-mail but web-user still sees normal text. So I've tried it. Looks good. But I hadn't heard of this til now, so is there a genuine reason for using it? Or is my friend overly-protective?? Your thoughts? ![]()

| Another RAR program worthy of investigation is TUGZip2. It handles multiple formats, and best of all it is free. You can find heir homepage here: http://www.tugzip.com/ Duke
