Startup Delayer

I've scanned this thread and didn't see Startup Delayer:

http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?pa...how=startdelay

It's free and if you have tons of stuff that load at startup (via the startup folder and the registry) then you probably know that sometimes not everything loads properly, or at all. In fact I bet some people aren't even aware this happens thanks to how Windows tries to load everything at the same time. This helped me a lot with my Logitech MX Duo software which would cause either (or both) the mouse and keyboard not to respond. I just set them to load last.

Now off to install IESpell. Looks like just what the doctor ordered!

Dunno if somebody mentioned it. But this is the coolest APP ever !! I simply couldn't live without it
This is the first thing I install after windows and it's the first thing I install if a friend wants me to fix his/her pc.

The app is TOTAL COMMANDER

Enhanced search function. Compare files / synchronize directories
Quick View panel with bitmap display
ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE archive handling + plugins

DirectX Eradicator 1.09, This utility is designed to safely remove the DirectX runtime core component from Windows 9X, Millennium and Windows 2000 operating systems... DXE gives you the ability to install and uninstall any version of DirectX as you wish. The 1.09 version also works on Windows XP. This utility has saved me from doing a full reinstall of Windows XP Pro a few times when a client corrupts his DirectX files, after upgrading the video drivers incorrectly. For the quickest results keep your Windows Installation CD in your bootable optical drive, and DirectX will be reinstalled again. Here is the link:

MailWasher for outlook\a few others.. its kinda like a third party thing, where you can blacklist or bounce emails that come in, so they don't even touch your inbox. Pretty cool

I do not know if someone has already mentioned this-but Hijack This. It is a spyware utility that reads deep into the registry for suspicious entries. It finds stuff Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware miss. It's best feature is that you can take a notepad snapshot of it's findings and send it to a forum whereby an experianced member will tell you which reistry entries to remove. I use this utility when all else fails and I know there is still some garbage on my system. It can be found at the Major Geeks website under spyware tools.
