ati2dvag.dll display driver problem- Toshiba Satellite 1900

Hello all:

This is a major problem for me. PLEASE help me. I have a Toshiba Satellite 1900 which has an ATI MOBILITY M6 display card. I operate on XP SP2 and whenever I try to play anything on Windows Media Player, an error - ati2dvag.dll distorts the graphics and requires a boot up. The problem keeps coming back.

Please tell me what is an upgraded driver for the Mobility M6? I have no idea what to do. Please help me. Thanks.

6.8 Mobility Catalyst from Ati official site https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...e&folderID=293 Or you can use the Omega tweaked drivers http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php .But first remove your Ati drivers, reboot in safe mode and use Driver Cleaner http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.php to clean your system form those older Ati drivers. Reboot in normal mode and install your new drivers.

See if you can boot on safe mode and remove your Ati drivers. Also you can try a Windows repair install.
