| Re: Inspiron 1720 With out knowing what kind of warranty you got on the notebook, it's hard to say if you paid too much or not because the warranty amounts to a good chunk of the overall price. As for the space on the HDD's being across two spindles or one, I'd have to look at the order details for the system to tell you. It would either have 2x160GB somewhere or actually list two 160GB hard drives and a RAID configuration somewhere.

| Re: Inspiron 1720 Looks like you have one 320GB hard drive in this unit. If memory serves me right you could do 2x160GB drives in the unit. You'd have to configure it as such during the order. As for the price, it seems to be a price that is inline with what one would expect to pay for a 17" notebook. You have onsite warranty rather than the return to depot, which increase the prices a little bit. You'll appreciate it though if you ever have to use it. Next business day service rather than 1 week turn around. The 9 cell battery and the 4GB of memory also bumps the price. Looks like a decent price all around to me. ![]()
