When ever I do upgrades I sometimes swap stuff with the wife and daughters computers and they are none the wiser.

| Re: My new laptop I just bought. Just thought I'd give a quick update. The wife loves the laptop! Overall it is nice but there are a couple of minor things to note. 1. It is heavy! Havent really weighed it, but you dont want to pick it up with one hand. Of course, I dont know of anyone off the top of my head that has a 17" laptop that is light. 2. The clasp that holds the lid to the base seems a little cheap. 3. The color coating is easily dinged. It has a very nice feel, almost like a suede or microfiber, but it is plastic. But it is easily scratched. The wife wanted a 17" laptop so she could have a 10 key. Vista isnt so bad. Battery life is much better than her 600m. Bottom line is she is really happy and we got it for a good price.
