OMG, Tamy, you made my day !!!.. you must be in Paris... I must be the only one awake here in US..

You're right, Vista sucks at first, after all the tweaks done by now in XP... Not even my fav Antivir works with Vista .. must wait until the April 18th... registry cleaners and tweak programs for XP do not work either

what happens on the 18th?

I love Vista, but I couldn't find Vista drivers for my razr, so I am using XP 64 bit, until verizon or motorola comes out with usb drivers for vista (supposedly early April they said).

NOw my razr works fine, but can't get my epson 1240 scanner working in XP 64 bit so as soon as I get the usb drivers for my cellphone I'm switching back to Vista!

Vista rockz!

Cheers and big hugz

Very nice! Sounds like we have a similar setup.
Mine is here: E's XPS Lappy
The second I got it I ran SIW on it to pull all the hardware info then wiped the drive clean using an Acronis Boot Disk.

Hi Bajo!

FWIW....
When I moved all of my mail/addresses and such, I just copied the folders they were located in to the new drive. The Import built into Vista'a Outlook worked perfectly and easily at importing them from my old XP files. Of course, it brings the mail into a separate mail folder, so I just dragged them to my inbox/outbox.... as needed. This is the easiest move I have ever done. I couldn't believe it worked so well and easily.

I couldnt get networking working properly between my CUSL2 and the new machine....could see the CUSL2 drive from the vista machine, but not vice-versa. So, I dragged the files I needed and shut the CUSL2 down for the last time.
