| Replace a Turion ML-30 with a Turion MT-40??? Both are socket 754 and designed for "thin and light" laptops.... The ML-30 draws a max of 32 Watt The MT-40 draws a max of 25 Watt The MT-40 is a MUCH more powerful processor and draws a lot less power...... I'm thinking it is a win-win to swap out the CPU----more processing power, less battery consumption I can get one pretty cheap.... But will it work in an HP L2000 "Lance Armstrong Livestrong Special"???? Anybody know if an ML can be swapped for an MT ????

| Wow! Quote:
That 2nd thread is right on the money------the L2000 is an exact duplicate of the V2000... One lists the HP Brand-----the other the Compaq brand. This seems totally doable------I'm going to check out that service manual.... Thanks so much for the link!!!! John
