Thumbs up Awesome idea for a keyboard!

Has anybody seen this thing.....
http://www.artlebedev.ru/portfolio/optimus/

The keys on this keyboard all consist of a small OLED display, allowing the keys to change symbol depending on your application (see the bottom of the page). The page is in russian so I don't understand a thing but it LOOKS nice!

Oh dear.

1st?

I had no idea there was such a thing. How funny!

If I had the money and it came in a 'natural keyboard' setup I would buy it. The physical key layout on that one is too weird, though.

Still...maybe I should work with product development .

Interesing idea......but looks like just another way to suck more power and more complexity to go wrong.

According to the news, the concept was just completed. Here is the link from the first post in English.

I think the donkey might be the eDonkey P2P client... although showing that in a product advertising photo is a bit wierd.

Nice keyboard, but you'd smack yourself if you spilt coffee on it.

I just got my saitek gaming keyboard after replacing my logitech elite keyboard, this one althouh doesn't have the media keys I wanted, but it will do because it is still a better keyboard imho.

That looks awesome, but a eral keyboard imho should not have the microsoft eragonomic look, should have soft and quiet keys, the keys should not be small like notebook keys but not overally big, the keyboard should be generally mid ranged size and have a hand wrest at the bottom along with all normal keyboard keys, a sound key, play/pause/next/previous media keys and some programmable keys for games and miscealleanous stuff.

Oh, and it should come in 2 different colors to match cases :P. (God I bought a silver tsunami case and now I end up with my mx1000, a silver / black keyboard, a silver / black mousepad and soon to be a black 2005fpw , should had gotten the black version bleh.
