| DVI KVM Switches ... need input. I hope to purchase a Mac Mini soon and would like to use my current LCD monitor (DVI connection) with both my PC & Mac. I have been doing a little research and found that this KVM switch from ATEN is pretty good ... Newegg.com - ATEN CS1762 2-Port MasterView USB-DVI KVM Switch - Retail However, I've read some reviews that say it's max res is 1600x1200, and others that say 1920x1200. This is confusing because one is 4:3 and the other is widescreen. My monitor is a 20" widescreen with native res 1680x1050, which I hope works. I've also read that the picture looks good when viewing the monitor at the max res of the KVM switch, but I would think the determining factor would be the native res on the monitor? Has anyone used this particular KVM switch, or have experience with similar products? Any input would be appreciated.

| Re: DVI KVM Switches ... need input. Ive used KVM's in the past and im not a very big fan of them. Ive used the very basic ones to high end server kvm's and each one had something i didnt like. |

| Re: DVI KVM Switches ... need input. I have used basic KVMs in the past as well, and I agree they're quirky at best. However, my main gripe with KVMs in the past has been the way it handles the video signal for VGA ... I guess I'm hoping that this DVI switch actually generates good video quality. Anyone that can vouch for this model?
