|  I need some input gang!! here is my problem, when i built my new system I took eveything out of my case and installed it in a new case for my son.....it was an abit kg7 lite...1.4 w/512 ram, gforce3 and 80gig HD........well, something just started givin me problems I get weird error messages when trying to install winXP......anyway, i think for some reason its the board.....dont ask me why, its just a feeling I have. Ok here is where i need help......what would u guys do....should i buy just a motherboard or maybe a motherboard bundle.......should scrap the board and processor, since the 1.4 is so cheap....or should i change over to Intel......keep in mind i wanna get best bang for buck. Just give me yer thoughts please. Thanx gang! |

| Well if you're going to replace it....go with an nForce2 board and 2500+ Barton chip. Why don't you provide more info on your problem and perhaps someone can help get the old board running. Just moving perfectly working components from one case to another shouldn't create too much of a problem. You may want to take everything out of the case, lay the mobo on a wooden table, install the cpu/hsf, ram and video card and start it up.
