Thumbs up New 24" Dell 2408WFP...!

Dell UltraSharp 2408 Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor

Just ordered one .. anyone got it yet..?

Much better 3000:1 contrast r. and more new HD ports, etc.. sweet !

It's more expensive too.. there's 24'"ers out there for under $400, but you get what you pay for in the end...

I have the old one and still love it, I paid $700 awhile ago...

2407 is basically the same, minus the hdtv ports, and only 'cause I do not have a tv set, I went for the 2408 today...

Otherwise, 2407 is also their best so far, with perfect lcd for both gaming & hd movies.

There are a load of hook-ups on there. Plus the stand is height adjustable and the screen can be rotated. If you don't need all those features and then there are other options that aren't as costly.

absolutely agree, however, the Dell lcd quality is one of the best, and that really matters.. there's even a 27.5 lcd out there for under $550, but ...
