| Re: Pc won't start Disconnect the HDD's and DVD drives, FDD's, PCI Cards, onboard USB devices (internal USB devices that plug into the 9-pin internal USB ports), and see if it boots now. Reset the BIOS by shorting the CMOS Jumper. If your Video Card requires extra power, make sure you plug a power cable into it. If your Power Supply is a cheap no-name one that says "550watts", its actually a ~300watt PSU, so dont trust those ratings. Buy a brand name PSU that has a "true" rating. Your PC will complain if its not getting enuf power. Also try booting with just one memory module, and ensure you insert the module in slot 1. Try the other module if it still wont boot. Another cause could be that the CPU installer applied too much pressure to the motherboard, causing dry joints on the PCB, requiring replacement.
