W2K Intelata event 16 in event log?

The following was posted in the W2k forum back in March but, no one responded.
I have the same event log and wondered if anyone knows about "Intelata event 16" if not any suggestions where I could get an answer?

The following was post by Moz in W2K forum:
Hi there, since you asked I thought I might ask a question.

My system has been running fine since the format. I'm using the beta Ultra ATA drivers from Intel (as the official ones make my burner/dvd into SCSI devices which don't work in Nero etc).

In my EVENT LOG, I am just getting one error, last happened yesterday a few times.. (same error)

Source is IntelATA, event 16

Event Type: Error
Event Source: IntelATA
Event Category: None
Event ID: 16
Date: 3/14/2001
Time: 11:48:50 PM
User: N/A
Computer: RAPTURE
Description:
The request is incorrectly formatted for \Device\Ide\IntelAta0.
Data:

0008: 00 00 00 00 10 00 04 c0 ......

Any Ideas? Probably beta ATA driver problem.. I could uninstall them... suggestions?
