3DMark05 crash


Every time I get to the 4th test, i think a cpu test, with the space shoot out, the program crashes. ive tried it with both OC and no OC. disabled my anti virus. anyone else having this problem?

i'd reccomend to download 3dmark2005 again, maybe the downloaded file got corrupted (although its very unlikely because you would get a CRC error then). But so far nobody else got this problem, and it's also rather an odd problem, because the GFX supported run completes successfully...

ya, the stangest part is that it doesnt crash right at the beginning of the test. it crashes about 10-15 seconds into the crash, when the heavy fighting begins. and always in the same spot. ill try DLing it again. but like you said, i doubt that is the problem. maybe i should try the cat 4.9, instead of these omega drivers...

It sounds like an instaiblity issue. You said that you tried while OCing and while not OCing. I would check the ram timings and loosen the latencys. Also maybe the A-A-A-D-D setting on the mobo.
Couldn't hurt.
