I have tried to D/L the new 7199 drivers twice and both times the transfer stopped and the window closed before it reached even 1 mb.

What gives?

My 3309 looks kind of sad compared to what these new video cards can produce, but quite good for the card I have!

My system has a Creative Labs 32mb GeForce2 (Core 210 Memory 350). Detonator 21.81

Thats a good score, I wasnt able to beat it until bout 3 weeks ago.
In case you dont know-a tweaked bios would probably give you a boost, Do you know about the (over 140fsb) slowdowns of the cusl2?

Bajo-I finally got those 7199 drivers, d/l successful.

But, while my score went up a little, those problems I mentioned are still there for me. And...you say they went away for you?

6994(3dmark2k1 score) with p3@1148/153, Radeon 8500 not o/clocked.

Hi Rafael, Yes I do know about the over 140fsb slowdowns and I run the program StuffPcr, which fixes the problem. I don't think I'm going to see to much more out of this 32 mb graphic card.
It seems your ATI 8500 is doing a great job. perhaps Santa will bring me a new one for Xmas.

Garnet, I figured you had to know, just thought it was worth mentioning. I should pay more attention to the number of posts and titles of fellow site members before sticking my foot in my mouth.

Bajo! ME had somehow kept a few old files when I up-graded to the 7199 drivers. Went back and obliterated any sign of ANY old ATI drivers(WinCleaner is a great program!) and applied the 7199 set.

ALL problems solved, with about a 90 point 3dmark2k1 score increase. Yes, the lobby and point-sprite probs are GONE!

Now score a 7081 with p3@1148/153 and radeon at factory settings. COOL!

Rafael, I got it! I'm running 8566 on bajo's card and processor.

Wait till he boots up his machine in the morning with that old 8mb ATI card and 486 processor that I stuck in. His score in 3DMark2001 will be 216! HaHaHaHa

My GOSH, Garnet, I had NO idea Nova Scotia was so close to Austin Texas. You made it in and out in less than twenty minutes!
I guess Texas is even bigger than they say, and now it has begun swallowing up other countries.

By the way, exactly how slow was that 486 you snuck in, you know Texan's are crafty little devils. Especially the ones from Austin. Bajo will have that thing humming along in no time.

While we're at it, what would you trade for a little stealth mission to Afganistan?-I know a guy from Austin that would buy you the BADDEST computer ever built in return for a certain little bearded fellow.
