High Performance DDR Roundup at VR-Zone

VR-Zone has just posted (4-15) a really well-done test of the best DDR333 (PC2700) on the market. They compare the highest 2-2-2-5-1 performance they can achieve, then the highest 2.5-2-2-5-1 performance, and finally the absolute highest overclock they can acheive. Tested memory is the best available:

WinBond PC2700
KingMax PC2700
Micron PC2700
Corsair PC2700
Mushkin PC2700
Samsung PC2700

The results are very interesting at High Performance DDR SDRAM Roundup

Interesting comment he made about 'burning in' the Samsung memory properly...I just HAD to follow it - Visionary posted this about it....

"...I shouldn't use the word "burn in" actually as it will be mistook for running the RAM for many hours. Since Samsung initally doesn't run well under high FSB and doesn't like voltage above 2.8V therefore i will have to start running the RAM from a lower voltage of 2.7V and done some benchmarks. Progressively i increase the VMem 2.8V and up the FSB and continue with the benchmarks and so on until i can run the RAM stable at 3V and achieve highest FSB."

Nice article Prometheus...
