| Actually, I think he is on the right track. It should be exactly 13.3%. Here is what I understand to be correct: There are 39 pixel shaders used in Aquamark3: 30 of which are PS 1.1 (DX7), 5 are PS 1.4, (DX8) and 4 are PS 2.0 (DX9). Hence, the 13.3%. Therefore, if we go by the numbers, it is a DX7 Benchmark with a smattering of DX9 support... Quote:

W2K3 even had all the AMD8111 chipset drivers installed before I bothered with the later 9/5/03 drivers. | |

| Just installed nVidia's 51.75 and I put up 51,650. Exhibit A: http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_vie...unID=253173472 I placed #45 out of #2813 blokes! I beat an Intel processor running at 3514MHz! I think I soiled my knickers… |

| 4905 to be exact. What is interesting, I have not even touched the memory or CPU speeds. It is a fact that I can tighten up the memory and put the 246 to 2.2GHz comfortably. You never know, I may have a shot at the title… Quote:

| I am the only combatant hauling the Opteron flag. I am stuck in a quagmire filled with Intel disciples. In actuality, the maximum score I can pull with this 246 is probably 56,650. That would put me at #4 or #5. By tightening the memory timings and upping the 246 to 2.2GHz, that may give me the additional 5,000. At least in the top ten for a day or so. Or, until I get the 248... Quote:
