And yet it's P4Northwood that is routing you on. T-800 has already had some success with his oc and he is not using what I suspect it a potentially tighter timing Mushkin RAM.

| my cpu score sucked bigtime...wondering why...too embarrased to even post...but the total score is just shy of 26000 ouch...but my cpu score is like below 5000 ***...saw others with lower cpu's that killed me....whats up with these synthetic benchies ok now checking more into the p4 stats and i see HT cpu's taking the top p4 rankings....but whats weird is my cpu score is not that great (p4 2.4b oc @3ghz) but i spank many geforce 4 cards that have higher oc's than I.....mine is just a ti4200...strange man....i run my ram corsair xms pc3200 cas 2 @444 mhz and my fsb is 667 which is 18 x167 ....would my cpu score be better if i ran my ram at a low mhz cause for my board it really should run @333 at default.... hate these damn benchmarks lol...can drive a sane man crazy...and those p4 C chips are grabbing wicked scores....wish i waited four months and built my new system with one of those....my board doesnt support them though...amd's are doing quite well in comparison #5 AquaMark Score: 26366 (CPU: 4976, GFX: 3585) FPS: 26.37 TPS: 8786 K Your Measurement CPU: Pentium(R) 4 processor CR: 3000 MHz SRAM: 512 MB OS: Microsoft Windows XP GFX: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X CM: 294 / 581 MHz VRAM: 128 MB DRIVER: 6.14.10.4467 RES: 1024x768 x 32bit AA: Off AF: 4x DETAILS: Very High INFO: nicetucu2, 2003-09-16, "Benchmark 2003-09-15 21-49-53" Last edited by 8itgreat : 09-16-2003 at 01:21 AM. |

| Well, down in the valley, the Intelonians, and they number in the thousands are waiting for your response. Your like Hercules, if only for 1 night. You have to at least try. You owe it to AMD. They have put so much hard work in on those chips. I am sure someone in the PR dept. is waiting up to see if their chips can make #1 in this brand new benchmark. AMD's future is in your hands. It could make the Inquirer by the morning.. You owe it to AMD to at least try.. My only fear for you is that one of the 5GHZ P4's out of Japan may post before you. Then its to late!! Opteron or not, 5GHZ P4Northwood is to much to handle..

I just checked my Tyan bios which are normally considered anemic-well, it's anemic. There are not even any options for changing my memory timings. Guess I now know what to order for RAM.
