| The CPU speed is not a huge factor in 05. Core clocks on the video card are what matter the most. |

PIII-S @ 1.5 Ghz, X800 Pro (stock speed). Will provide more detailed score later this evening. Greets Dru P.S.: Settings turned down? Drivers installed, nothing changed in settings.

I get 50-100 points difference between stock 425 and 450. Yet my socres shoot 300-400 points by overclocking memory to 1200MHz, up 100MHz from stock.

| Yes, memory matters. But there is generally more headroom on the core. Here's an updated score. SK8V/FX51 and X800XT @ 667/631. This is with a water block on the GPU. With a phase change cooler, I might be able to go above 8000. Last edited by sierra_bound : 10-05-2004 at 01:51 PM. |

| Hey sierra_bound, How far will your PE's core/memory go with default voltage(1.4v I believe)?

| With default voltage, around 600/615 or something like that. 1.4v is default for the core. I usually bench at 1.7v. Some people run above 1.8v which is a little too scary for me. Last edited by sierra_bound : 10-05-2004 at 12:55 PM. |

| Hey sierra, why are you running the 05 test on your SK8V Rig, instead of the A8V rig? Nice score btw...

| I've tried downloading the installation file thrice from Majorgeeks and failed all three times. Got 45MB the first time, 105MB the second and 50 MB the third! Majorpainintheass! Trying again from Guru3D this time. I'll post my score later today.
