| I thought it was only gonna be released at 3:00 P.M ET....only 283 MB i see--620 MB after actual installation   downloading it now from Majorgeeks.com...it's downloading surprisingly quick--276 KB/sec transfer rate...should take about 15 minutes total!! now I also gotta switch over to the official ATI Catalyst 4.9 drivers as well from the Omega Drivers (4.9) to get higher scores!! Hopefully I'll be able to break 100 points with my Radeon 9800 Pro lol... *for those having trouble downloading or getting slow transfer rates---head on over to majorgeeks.com--they seem to have plenty of mirrors up along with fast downloads and fast transfer rates!!

|  OK, I'll reply here, too! With everything at default I got a whopping 1575! Whoo-hoo! Am I hardcore or what? Of course I set my system "Adjust For Best Performance" in System Properties to get that doozy of a score!   :wave2:

| well...here is my first official 3DMark 05 scores...it's actually higher then what I was expecting....also I got these scores using the Omega 4.9 drivers--which are known to give lower benchmarking scores...I will try them out later with the official Catalyst 4.9 drivers and see what kind of scores I get...

| I'm downloading 3DMark05, but probably won't be able to run it until this weekend because my benching rig is in pieces. Motherboard is being volt-modded, etc. I think all the download sites are going to be slow for the next few days. |

| Using stock X800 XT PE on A64 3200+ @10x240 and DFI LanParty nF3, my score jumped from 4432 to 5831 after I installed the Catalyst Beta 8.07 driver listed here: http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4649.html |

| Highest score so far in the Futuremark database is 7695. But most of the top benchers, including macci, have not put up scores yet. I know that macci has been testing 3DMark05 for quite some time. |
