Thanks YoBoGo, I only vmodded the gpu vcore got her running at 425/712 @ 1.70v. Very easy vmodd but you need good cooling.

What do you use for cooling? I have been considering doing some custom cooling with my 9700, most likely just add in a waterblock to my existing system.

Any link or info on what you did to vmodd the gpu vcore. I have been following what people like Catch22atplay and hobocrow have done, but seems a little over my head right now.

here's the vmodd link YoBoGo, just buy some smd grabbers from like frys and a 10k vr resistor Its very simple once you find everything radio shack will have these things to. As for cooling I use a koolance chipset coller for the gpu it fits perfect. Make sure you have a good psu because running 1.70 volts to a 9700pro will suck the the 5v line dry,hehe. YoBoGo, please tell me you are using the modified 3.2 drivers and not the ati 3.2 drivers. You will lose 200-300 pionts w/ the Ati 3.2drivers.

The softmod to make it 9800? Yes, I am using those, did it manually though, not the omega drivers.
