But, that's no OC m8!!! That's my default setting. This Hercules will OC to 375/350 with stock cooling. Just didn't have time to run a second bench with the Radeon pumped.

| Yeah, OCSYSTEMS put out a nice card. Came with one of those gigantic thermaltake coolers and huge heatsinks for the memory. I'm going to watercool it soon and see if I can go faster. It is almost maxxed out already, though. |

| Man, I was just looking to see how I compare..... Those top guys have some MEGA-OC'S on their Radeon's!?!?!?!?! Looks like you gotta pump up the OC on the Radeon to get the scores. I'm kinda gun-shy at OCing the vid cards after I blew out 2 Gainward Ti4600's.... oh well, we'll give it a little bump tonight.

| I get 1400 P4 2.4 (533) @ 2.4 Corsair 512 MB XMS PC 3200, 333 MHz, Timings: 2-2-5 Ge Force Ti4200 (ASUS 8420) I get 1450 when I have the Video Card at 275/550. I get 1350 when I have the Video Card at default (250/446) I first ran 3D 2K3 with my video card clocked to 275/550, and the ASUS 31.40 Drivers, but it would only run once, every time I tried to run it again, I had major system lock-up. I tried the NVidia 41.09 Drivers, but it would not get through the first test with the video card settings at 275/550. I was only able to run my second test after setting the video settings at default. I don't really understand why my video card craps out when overclocked. I have seen higher clockings for the Ti4200, (although mine is not the Deluxe version). I have lots of cooling, including a 120 mm Global Win Card cooler running right on top of the AGP slot, and 2 80 mm case fans. I am going to try with the FSB at 166 (3.06 GHz on the CPU), and 150 (2.70 GHz on the CPU). Then I am going to see what my max video card overclocking settings are. Does anyone think I should try tweaking the AGP voltage to get the ASUS 8420 DVI to be more stable, or are there greater risks ?? |

| BTW 3D 2K1 SE, I scored 10,500 with the video card overcloked, 10,000 with the video card at default settings. The max I was able to get from my system, with the CPU, GPU, DDR, and NVidia RAM all maxed out was 14,000. |

| Here's mine, finally. If you read earlier, I had probs with my new 3D Prophet 9700 pro. Turned out to be power. I took the VidCard provided adaptor off and hooked the dedicated floppy connector to the card and everything worked, no more screen lockups, during 3dmark or bootup. I actually had the adaptor tied in with my primary HD, so I guess that was too much power sharing between the two. Anyway, A big thanks to brschmid for helping me out!! ![]() Cat 3.1 DX9 Settings;PERFORMANCE STOCK

| Seems that one of the biggest hardware sites out there are refusing to use 3dMark03 as a recognised benchmark. The conclusion part of the article shows what they are testing in each section and why the tests are meaningless. http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDI4
