Nice bit of dispassionate observation and statement grsamf...too often articles of this sort are colored by the writer's prejudice with the resultant stridency and preachiness that makes them unreadable...This should be required reading for any members interested in the likely path to be taken by the entertainment industry, no matter which "side" they may consider themselves aligned with. I forsee a rocky road ahead for those companies unwilling to move with the stream of technology rather than continuing to pursue a "scorched earth' policy against it and it's very capable users ...should your predicted scenarios materialize...
