Update

The mini Benq keyboard I was using has been damaged.
Looks likr the kids may have dropped some food on it and several keys on the left side are sticking or no longer working. I asked them who dropped what and all I got was

I removed the screws from the back but was not able to pry it apart ...

Decided to get a replacement Zippy backlit mini keyboard CP-610.

Here's a pic ...

I'm confused, is there a cover for the components? Or do they just sit out exposed like that?

Hate to think of what happens if a splash of water goes in the general direction of the PC...

A cover was made but never installed.
No water anywhere near it.
As you can see by the pics in the article, it fits in the corner between the microwave and the wall.

My compliments to the Chef on this Recipe... beautiful computer!
I would be tempted to get some thin clear plexiglass and bend it up into a nice clear box for a cover & then drill some small holes in it for ventilation.

Great job, that reminds me of when I did some PC inventory at a hospital. I can't remember the name of the unit. But most of the PCs were set up just like that, except they were dummy terminals with the unit attached to the back of the monitor.
