Question 2600+ xp-m w/ A7N8X-E dlx, FSB limits?

A7N8X-E Deluxe (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...131-478&depa=1)
Barton 2600+ mobile with IQYHA stepping (http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_i...oducts_id=3874)
2X512MB PC3200 (http://www.hardcorecooling.us/index....ROD&ProdID=462)

What kind of FSB overclock can I expect with this setup? I'm concerned about something I read the other day:

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/ma...e-deluxe_6.html

"The result of 225MHz FSB may be acceptable, though, if it were not for another problem. After working with the overclocked FSB for some time, the mainboard’s BIOS crashed. It was damaged completely, and the boot block too, leaving no hope for a simple restoration."

If I over-OC my FSB am I at risk of this happening to my board?

Is the L12/wire mod worth a try, or do I even need it?

I've had my processor overclocked to 200 FSB ever since I had the processor cooling to do so, about half a year or so. No problems here. With that combination I don't think you can go much higher than 200 FSB due to the processor multiplier lock. I've never gotten the board to overclock because of the processor.

That mod is for a different board, nf7-s rev2. I wouldn't try it unless you see someone having success with that mod on the A7N8X-E.
